Me too I like the natural stance rather than the stretched out ones that we see today. Janine, You have a absolutely stunning male there

Absolutely stunning male, but is it me or does he seem to be a bit straight in the shoulder/front?

Very good catch, KL! This is a wonderful picture because in it you can see stuff that normally just doesn't show up in a photo. For those of you wanting to learn to see structure, this dog actually has a very nicely laid back shoulder but he has the very long forearm the show people talk about, and in this case it is also quite vertical. Normally, what you (don't--aren't able to) see is a shorter, somewhat less vertical forearm, and a longer, somewhat less horizontal shoulder blade (when photos allow you to see anything at all). These things are normally VERY difficult to see in photos, but in this particular photo, it is so wonderfully clear and sharp (and the dog's stance is so natural) that you can actually see them. khawk
